Translutions Principal Sandipan Bhattacharjee teaches a course on Transportation Planning and Traffic Engineering at the University of Southern California. The course, Urban Transportation Planning and Management is offered through the Viterbi School of Engineering (CE-633) and the Price School of Public Policy (PPD-633). The course teaches background applications of established urban travel forecasting procedures and interactions between land use and transportation. The course applies the four-step process of transportation modeling – trip generation, trip distribution, modal choice and trip assignment. The class is heavily focused on the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA).
